Congress thinks they are the Oprah Winfrey Show

So apparently some people in Congress want to give out $2k a month to every American plus $2k per dependent. Full story here The current plan calls for monthly payments to continue until 3 months after the CDC says the pandemic is over. They have forgotten how money works and also that they don't have any. Where do they think this money is coming from? They are straight playing Oprah. You get 2 grand!!! You get 2 grand!!! Flooding the US with cash will not fix anything and it is completely unnecessary. What about the unemployed? I know a waitress who was working 20 hrs a week before the rona making a grand a week on unemployment. The government is already spending money they don't have to take care of these folks. What happened to the Tea Party? What happened to any sense of fiscal responsibility? We are bankrupting this country for politicians to score public opinion points. It's ridiculous. If they just keep printing money we don't have pretty soon it will be cheaper to burn $20 dollar bills than pay your heat bill. It's happened before and it can happen here. If this goes through I will be literally doubling my paycheck each month for no reason. I could quit my job and still make the same money. Don't get me wrong, I will spend it if they give it to me, but someone needs to get Congress to pull their collective heads out of their asses and realize they don't have any fucking money. Don't watch the news, stay home, wash your hands, and listen to the CDC so we can have sports again to distract us from all the idiots in Washington.

So after several heavy, data intensive blogs, we are back to a more light hearted topic. The rona. The semi forgotten pandemic has came roaring back into the headlines with  this awesome story . Great news!!!! It's "rare" for asymptomatic people to spread the virus. Awesome, we can go back to stay home if your sick right? Well, maybe not. If you take the time to read the story a not so clear picture emerges. Here's some quotes. So, ol' Steve is getting murdered online for this quote. Secretary Mnuchin say $1200 dollars will last 10 weeks. This is popping up all over twitter, facebook, and my news feed. Wake the fuck up people. He isn't referring to the stimulus check. He is referring to the 2.2 trillion (best guess because the people who wrote it don't know the price tag) package.
