The Cubs are coming!

The Cubs schedule dropped today and it looks awesome. 60 games in 65ish days. (I don't know how calendars work).
Let's see how the season will shake out.

July 24 – Brewers
July 25 – Brewers
July 26 – Brewers
Cubs sweep 3-0. Rizzo is fired up. Rossi is on a mission. The ivy is green.
July 27 – at Reds
July 28 – at Reds
July 29 – at Reds
July 30 – at Reds
Cubs take series 3-1. The Reds get one due to home field. We are now 6-1.
July 31 – Pirates
Aug. 1 – Pirates
Aug. 2 – Pirates
Cubs sweep. The Pirates aren't good and they know it. Rossi has the fans ready to run through brick walls and the players ready to run through buildings. El Mago is doing magic shit and Contreras has 5 pick offs at first minimum. 9-1 record.
Aug. 3 – Royals
Aug. 4 – Royals
Aug. 5 – at Royals
Aug. 6 – at Royals
At this point a division of Abrams tanks could be placed in front of the Cubs roster and it wouldn't stop these guys. Rossi points and Rizzo and Bryant go. 13-1 and Chicago is hopping.
Aug. 7 – at Cardinals
Aug. 8 – at Cardinals
Aug. 9 – at Cardinals
First hiccup as Q makes his return. Cards take 2, but can't complete the sweep. 14-3
Aug. 10 – Off
Aug. 11 – at Indians
Aug. 12 – at Indians
Sweep for the Cubbies. I'm guessing Rizzo will be hitting above .350 at this point and Schwarber will be home run leader. 16-3.
Aug. 13 – Brewers
Aug. 14 – Brewers
Aug. 15 – Brewers
Aug. 16 – Brewers
Four games at Wrigley? Give. Me. More. Cubs take 3/4 games at worst. At this point, people are starting to understand the level of intensity out of Cubbie Nation in a 60 game sprint. Bryant is playing for an extension and leaving it all on the diamond and the fans love it. 19-4.
Aug. 17 – Cardinals
Aug. 18 – Cardinals
Aug. 19 – Cardinals
Cubs are salty from the previous series. Q is mid season form. 22-4
Aug 20 – Off
Aug. 21 – White Sox
Aug. 22 – White Sox
Aug. 23 – White Sox
Cubs lose first game and then bounce back and take the final two. White Sox are good this year but it's Wrigley. 24-5.
Aug. 24 – at Tigers
Aug. 25 – at Tigers
Aug. 26 – at Tigers
Aug, 27 – Off
Aug. 28 – at Reds
Aug. 29 – at Reds
Aug. 30 – at Reds
Aug. 31 – Off
Sept. 1 – at Pirates
Sept. 2 – at Pirates
Sept. 3 – at Pirates
Okay, Cubs are at worst 7-2 on this road trip. Every game is a playoff game. Lester is being Lester, giving up 2 runs in the first and finishing the game with 7 IP, 4 hits, 8 SO, and 2 runs scored while the Cubs bats eat. 31-7
Sept. 4 – Cardinals
Sept. 5 – Cardinals
Sept. 6 – Cardinals
Sept. 7 – Cardinals
CUBS SWEEP AT HOME!!! There are no off games this year. All gas, no brakes. 35-7
Sept. 8 – Reds
Sept. 9 – Reds
Sept. 10 – Reds
Sweep again. The energy at Wrigley is a living thing. The hammer is down and Rossi is standing on the gas pedal. 38-7
Sept. 11 – at Brewers
Sept. 12 – at Brewers
Sept. 13 – at Brewers
Split series 2-1. Away from Wrigley the energy is down slightly but the stands in Milwaukee will be half blue. 40-8
Sept. 14 – Off
Sept. 15 – Indians
Sept. 16 – Indians
Sept. 17 – Off
Sept. 18 – Twins
Sept. 19 – Twins
Sept. 20 – Twins
Sweep the homestand. 2 days off? Rizzo will hit 6 dingers just from excess energy. 45-8
Sept. 21 – at Pirates
Sept. 22 – at Pirates
Sept. 23 – at Pirates
Sept. 24 – at Pirates
Split the end of year road series. Looking at the playoffs.  47-10.
Sept. 25 – at White Sox
Sept. 26 – at White Sox
Sept. 27 – at White Sox
This series will depend on the White Sox. For the sole purpose of this blog, I am going to assume they are out of the playoff picture and Cubs sweep.

50-10. Let's go Cubs. It's doable. Let's get a trophy for Rossi.
